On Thursday November 20, 2014, we will be holding our AGM at Christ Church (1700 Mazo Crescent ). At 7.00 PM we will enjoy refreshments and the meeting will begin at 7.30 PM.
The Agenda will be as follows.

- Review and Approve the Minutes of 2013 AGM.
- President’s Report
- Presentation by each Board Member
- Treasurer’s Review of Financial Statement
- Member’s Questions and Comments
- Dissolve Current Board of Directors
- Nominations and Election of New Board Members
- Ask New Board Members and Coordinators to Remain for A Brief Board Meeting
Come out, voice your opinion on the running of your Club, show your interest and enthusiasm in keeping Fairfields going for another 50 years..... and exercise your voting rights (1 vote per good standing membership - sublets are unable to vote).
We are looking for people like you to help out.
Did you know that Fairfields is operated by a board of directors consisting of 7 members? Every year these positions are voted in by our membership at the AGM. Fresh faces and ideas are always welcomed and essential to making Fairfields the best that it can be for our community.
Interested in helping out? Do you have some great ideas to better our pool? Are you good at follow through? Do you enjoy working in a group environment?
The Executive Board positions are: President, Vice-President, Secretary & Treasurer. Our Director positions include Membership, Staffing, & Water Maintenance. Other roles that in the past have been set as board or non board positions are Communications, Funding/Grant Writing, Grounds Maintenance, Facility Maintenance, Social Coordinator & Volunteer Coordinator.
Those Members who are interested, are nominated for a director position. If more than 7 members put forth their nominations then there will be a vote at the AGM for the 7 positions. All positions will be selected by the current board members after the AGM.
